Taking the integration of SAP system and MES system as the application background, this paper emphatically studies the principles and implementation of the PI switching fabric. By using SAP PI to realize system integration it is possible to effectively reduce the development difficulty of the interface, increase the development efficiency of the interface, reduce the development and maintenance costs of the system, and ensure the real time and efficiency of the data interaction, as well as facilitating the next maintenance and monitoring of the communication interface in a single platform.
